Green When we were at Elm Park, results didn't matter. You went on the pitch after the last game of the season, end of.

Yeh yeh the game's moved on you'll tell me, but I for one quite like it. You did it after cricket matches and that seems to work ok (even allowed on at half time).

We've had our disagreements over British cuisine in the past Green, but I'm in full agreement with you on something for the second time today.

*West Indian Cricket Team fist bump**

*England look silly when they do it.

I did not invade the pitch on Saturday - does that mean that I am definitely not a twat? Just wondered.

When the final whistle went, all the players slumped to the ground, and there was no hint of anything other than failure to reach the play offs. The East Stand nearest to the away end started cheering and celebrating and that spread along the whole of the East Stand and into the North and West (There were even pictures of SJM suddenly applauding and some lass next to him clearly far happier than seeing the team make 7th).

The pitch invasion definitely started from the East Stand, and once it had begun the herd/lemming instinct took over.

As someone in y26 that day in the corner ready to invade the pitch, news came through that we were not in the play offs. We then heard cheers from the west stand so we started cheering and ran on.

Why run on to celebrate the play-offs?...don't recall that happening against Bournemouth all of those years ago...............even had we qualified, (on Saturday) we'd still have achieved the square-route of f11ck all.

The west stand were cheering because someone had replenished the supply of prawn sandwiches.

Why not? It is fun. I don't live my life worrying that anyone is going to disapprove of my over-zealous celebrations.

The west stand were cheering because they slightly heard Y22+ a bit louder than the opposition fans for once.

I thought they were still cheering the fact that Akpan had left the pitch earlier on in the game.
