Zammo Sir John Madejski is back in charge at Reading Football Club

Brillant news.

Not really, and there is a difference between being in charge and in control of the club. Madejski simply stating he is making day to day decisions. We are still in a mess with regards to ownership and TSI can overrule Madejski whenever they want. Nothing has effectively change and the club is still in limbo.

Extended-Phenotype Can't wait for summer. JM announcing he's "the man" again is like sticking a waving inflatable tube man on the stadium roof for all the other clubs to see.

Brilliant idea!

We are also back with an owner who has stated many times that he doesn't have any money, won't spend any more money, doesn't know what money is and doesn't want to own a football club anymore.

The man without whom we would definitely have no money, wouldn't be able spend any more of dad's money, and have an owner who doesn't know what money is and who doesn't want to own a football club anymore

What's your problem?

Caption contest entry -

SJM thinks - "Who is this chap? Is he one of the potential new owners. I am sure I recognise him from somewhere".

Correction. Possibly one of the men without whom the club would be no more. There is only one man who definitely saved the club from extinction and that is Roger Smee supported by Roy Tranter.

Madejski was the man who bought and therefore 'saved' us next time around but at that time there were other possible investors showing an interest including a well known rock star.

E-P's assessment of the man now back in charge and the state of limbo that the club consequently remains in is spot on.

As in "in all fairness but what difference does that make".
