Worked out to about £70k I think. Although we paid up more in later payments for Doyle. And then bought a bunch of overpriced shit off them later too.

Elm Park Kid
Norfolk Royal Nobody spotted the piece in The Sun today saying Adkins has been handed a £10-million transfer kitty?

Not exactly Man City but something at least.

I'd be more inclined to believe the bullsh*t in the gylfi thread than i would an article in The Sun.

A £10million kitty in this division spent wisely should mean promotion, but hardly ever does. The thing is we have the basis of a good side to start off with

Sorry, there is no logic there !
If it hardly ever does then to say it should has to be wrong...

10 million in the hands of a shrewd manager should bring in a decent set of players, and I'd agree that we have a decent foundation on which to build. Burnely showed you don't have to spend big if you are clever where you invest what you have.

Of course 10 million in the hands of Harry would only give you a million in his Swiss bank account and half an ex Premiership player.

Pepe the Horseman Adam Clayton - £2.5m
Nakhi Wells - £2.5m
That bloke from Coventry - £2.5m

Leaves us with £2.5m.

Why do people keep saying we should sign that guy from U2, are we looking to change the half time entertainment or something?

And where's Dave when we need him - he usually has his finger on the pulse.

Indeed - all the Swingers and people from Match.com seem to live in RG2 or RG6.

Someone did stub their toe crossing the road out here though the other day ...

The guy covering Charles Watts at the Reading Post is saying that the takeover may not be completed for several weeks yet.

Roll on the summer...
