Two possible new investors/backroom boardmembers? Weerawit Yaovaja and Pol.Maj.Gen Pumira Watanpanee are listed. The deal was evidently brokered by Pairoj. Weerawit appears to work at that Billion Limited Capital or whatever, so probably just a gr8 m8 of Samrit

Looks like they've given up the pretence that Ian Smith and Ian Wood-Smith are two different people.

My mate told me today that SJM and his Thai guests all left 10 minutes before the end, bloody worrying if true

The 1st time the new owners have seen us play in a compitive game and they have reason to leave early. didn`t like what they were seeing? who knows? maybe they had a flight or train to catch back down south?
I would like to think that anyone that as the interest of RFC at heart would stay till the end of every game they attend.

Have you seen the Mad Stad with a game on the knife edge at 80 minutes?

BBCRB said that JM and his agent left with a bit to go.
No mention of Samrit and co though.

Think you might be reading too much into it.........I'm sure they have meetings and things to do before the takeover is completed.

Who is Tony David btw - I notice him posting pics on Samrit's FB page and calling him the "boss".

I am sure Charles Watts said Tony David was Samrit's lawyer.

It was important to Samrit that everyone saw the Police United in this takeover

That was also on the back on the programme.

Not surprising. Thais are (required to be) patriotic. I was in Chiang Mai once when the whole of a night market stopped to sing the national anthem on the King's birthday. I believe that every household and business must also display a picture of the King at all times.
