Has everyone suddenly forgotten the shamblethon that was Pulis' managerial career before he joined stoke?

Think I would finally stop going if he took over

How stupid , can't people improve and learn through experience ? He's made Stoke a solid Prem club and what we'd give for that

Going to be very controversial here. I don't think Dolan is the right man......right now.

Right now we need an up & at em kind of fella to get people back on side. Not sure he offers that if I'm honest.

Di Canio would ruin us.

What if this is a slippery slope to a crazy, Leeds style saga? 15 managers in 8 months or something stupid?

Dolan the logical choice and will be popular with most on here.

genome If we can afford him and he wants to come here, Pulis all day long.

I reckon both of your 'if's aren't going to happen - and Ill add another - there's no way he'll get on with Hammond - they have very different approaches to transfer windows.

Thing is, he'd probably do alright - as the players have been getting away with murder for far too long now - it wouldn't be pretty, though.

No idea really of a replacement. I wanted Zola last time, but I fear most of the managers who I reckon could do a job here wouid have unfashionable wage demands.
Cant we get a Dutchman or a Croatian nobody has even thought of - they seen to be in vogue nowadays.

Can't believe someone on here said they would be happy with Chris Hughton. If you thought Adkins brand of football was tedious you've seen nothing compared to 'Careful Now' Chris.

Glenn Hoddle is a pcunt.
As is Paulo Di Canio.

Looking at the betting favourites I'm oxf*rd delighted.
Top 6 likely contenders of: Clarke, Pulis, Sherwood, Hughton, Dolan and Robinson.

All top candidates, and a slap in the face to all the "who would want to come here" crowd.

You are pretty much basing it all on his time at Stoke arent you? The club who's fans wanted him out at the end

Steve Clarke for me. Will sort out the defence and should be able to pull in some decent signings that others can't if money does become available.

Add him to the poll

Presumably a Tim Sherwood hiring would see the return to the Madejski of Les Ferdonand, as no. 2.

Gorkks is the man to whip the defence in to shape.

You do know that's not an actual list of applicants, don't you?

I think it's highly likely that the person we get in, will be one of the 6 people deemed most likely by the betting market.
Don't you?
