Skybet have put the betting back up - they have Steve Clarke as the 1/4 favourite

Sherwood would be interesting. As has obvious Spurs connections for loans.

So have we already approached Steve Clark?

Wasn't he interviewed before?

Disappointed that Mickey Mouse isn't on the list because the way the club has been run over the past couple of years he would be the most suitable candidate,

LOL. Given how famous for their tolerance footballers and ex-footballers are; Id love to see the reaction of some of the candidates to being interviewed by a little old Thai lady.

Id be happy with either Steve Clarke or Karl Robinson and to a lesser extent Uwe Rosler.

Do NOT want Pulis. Although he would probably sort out our shambles of a defence...

Whoever and if ever NA's replacement is made....it will be shrouded in a veil of secrecy and speculation....and we will be the last to know...as is the Reading way....

....and no doubt, disapointed

McDermott or Dolan for me if either are interested in the job. I think right now someone with a connection to the club is required.

Dolan would seem a suitable choice to bring through the young players if required and it seems a natural progression, The potential negatives are he lacks experience managing at this level and would there be a risk of us getting sucked further into a relegation battle if things started badly? And what would we lose from what he currently offers? Maybe the best bet, rather like Brian, would be to give it to him on a caretaker basis and see what happens?

McDermott is an excellent Championship manager who has proved himself as a fit for the club, has succeeded in difficult financial circumstances at times and his pragmatism and experience might be just what we need. It would feel like a throwback to the pre-Anton era which arguably is exactly what the club needs.

I don't for a second see Pulis being interested. Coppell often struggled with teams going through bad runs and I'm not sure his heart is in management anymore.

Sir Brian for me. Back to fast, counter-attacking, wing play.

No to McDermott. No no no no no!!! He did well for us, got a wee bit lucky with unexpected investment that propelled us from what looked like mid-table finishers to promotion, but there are players still here who didn't want to play for him, and he'll be under even tighter financial restrictions. Just wont happen!

UpThePrem Steve Clarke for me. Will sort out the defence and should be able to pull in some decent signings that others can't if money does become available.

Add him to the poll

Now added, let's see where he takes the voting

Wasn't one of the reasons Pulis got the sack at Stoke for not getting good value for his signings (Kitson, Jones, Palacios etc) and he walked out on Palace because they wouldn't give him more money to spend? Not really sure we're the right fit for him atm.

Dolan seems to make perfect sense given our situation. I don't think the new owners are going to be splashing the cash any time soon so someone who can bring the best out of what we have is necessary. The academy play the kind of football we seem to want and Dolan appears to be less full of BS than Mr Adkins.

I just hope we don't go for a wild Sven type appointment

Like this Thai lot will have a clue who would make a good manager. Can only think SJM will be asked for his input, along with Hammond.
