Difficult to see how we are going to get out of the position we are in if we can't keep a clean sheet with in the end 6 defenders on the pitch.

Hard to know where to start yesterday but pretty clear that after the game if HRK or Blackman start a game then we know we are in trouble. I would suggest that in a years time whatever league we are in fewer than 3-4 of yesterday's starting line up will be with us. Huge cleaner needed with Clarke bringing in some loans in January as a start.

And looking at the bench yesterday it reminded me of a few seasons ago at Middlesboro I think. Bugger all to bring on to change things.

 at their equaliser.

2 right backs on the pitch that couldn't block the cross
8 players, 6 of them defenders in the box that couldn't mark 4 of theirs.

As much as I don't want us to sign Murray permanently he's the only hope of us avoiding relegation this season.

Not sure if its' the right place but my take from yesterday was that we have too many non-specialist players in the team i.e. a problem SC has inherited from the previous regimes. If you look at the line up yesterday you could argue over 50% of the outfield players used weren't in their 1st choice position. In football manager they would all be yellow / brown (not green)

Obita - left back or left winger
HRK - Right / Left Winger / striker / midfielder
Blackman - winger / striker / midfielder
Jake Taylor - Wide midfield / centre midfield
Cummings - right full back / right midfielder
Kelly - left back or right back
and possibly Hector Centre back / centre midfield.

Not sure why Murray got taken off (avoid 2nd yellow ?) losing his ability to hold the ball up abilility along with winning aerial challenges was a big loss.

2/3 dangerous counter attacks which didn't result in shots due to rubbish decisions.

13.00 quid for priority parking a mile from the stadium is a bit of a joke.

Best chant I heard was 'who's your daddy' to Jake Forster Caskey !

dizzynewheights I'd argue federici should have come for the ball on the first goal. Struggling to think of a worse player I've ever seen in a Reading shirt than Blackman

Nigel Vaughan, Colin Gordon, spring to mind very quickly.
Just pick up a team list from the Branfoot era and you'll always find couple of candidates each game.

Only a couple of candidates????? Only time we played decent football was when we couldnt play cuptied players and won the Simod cup.

We dominated them until our second goal. We put them under pressure, played a great passing game, whilst Brighton looked hopeless and were the worst side I've seen all season. Then, we started to not put pressure on their players and sat further and further back and they started to just play the ball around us.

Feds was at total fault for their first goal but had an incredible second half to stop us from being battered.

Murray was imposing and was in total control of their defence, I can only think that he came off as Clarke knows he is leaving us after the Norwich game and wants to use the squad he is going to have as much as possible.

Blackman not passing the ball to Cummings was one of the most selfish and stupid decisions I have ever seen a player make.

That second half was one of the most one sided 45 minutes of football I've ever seen. Against manager less, relegation threatened, frankly quite crap BHA. The first half we were OK with a few sequences of delightful passes. The second half was, frankly pathetic. I haven't seen what the possession stats were but from their first goal to the end they must have had over 65%.

I thought bringing Blackman on seemed like a reasonable option at the time. How totally wrong I was. Like many others on here I hope I never see him in a Reading shirt again.

Step up Steve Clarke - you have one hell of a task on your hands.

It's still Mark Reilly and (I hope*) always will be.
The only reason there could be any debate is people blinked and missed his handful of appearances in '98.
Just looked him up - how the beep did he make 500+ appearances and get paid?

* worst player I've seen in 41 years and I've seen a few bad ones.
