Unless BBC Wales show it, then it'll likely be 7.45pm on the Friday.

I remember going to an FA Cup game at Ninian Park, open terrace end. There were about 4-5 Cardiff fans that got in the away end, stewards realised and chucked them out, then one or two of them opened their jackets to reveal Cardiff shirts. I think this was pre- Chris Casper breaking his leg game as I'm sure I was in the main stand for that one.

Think you're referring to the January 1998 tie, Kes. Reading were in the Championship and squeaked a 1-1 draw at League 2 Cardiff. We won the replay.....just, on penalties. Nick(y) Hammond the hero. A night which included one of my favourite tannoy announcements, at half time in extra time:

"Cardiff fans, your last train home leaves in 5 minutes"

Chorus of derision from the Southbank

Ninian Park & Elm Park > Cardiff City Stadium and the Madj. The Cardiff City Stadium has all the atmosphere of a dentist's waiting room.

Kitsondinho Possibility of it being live on BBC Wales too. They've shown a couple of games in the competition this season.....fingers crossed (for reasons stated previously) that they do show it!

Was just about to say that, that's one positive of getting Cardiff away. With Wrexham twice and Cardiff having all had home ties shown in the competition so far by BBC Wales (or S4C) there's a good chance it will be televised.

With Cardiff fans supposedly boycotting the match and Swansea being a Prem team, I don't blame them in the slightest!

Yeh, think Cardiff's embarrassing attendance in R3 probs played a part in the decision.

And that it's an all Championship tie. That was one factor I thought may count against it.

anR The televised games are:-

Friday 23rd
Cambridge Utd v Man Utd 7:55pm

A Man Utd FA Cup game, live on TV!! Who would of thought it..............................

Man Utd's last FA Cup game that was NOT broadcast live was a 0-0 draw at home to then Conference side, Exeter City - in January 2005.

Therefore, EVERY Man Utd FA Cup game has been shown on live TV for the last 10 Years - the game against Cambridge will be their 38th consecutively shown; ironically, during those 10 Years, Man Utd have never won the FA Cup, so maybe the constant live TV performances are a jinx?

There must be some sort of reason TV companies keep showing Man Utd games?

I can - almost - forgive Sky/BT/ITV etc showing all the Man Utd games; clearly, all their "legions" of armchair fans will watch in their drove so the advertisers will be happy (even if the games themselves - like the ones against us as an example - might be a bit meh) but why does the Beeb, who presumably has no commercial need to chase ratings, do it?
