Which is hilarious given how bad we've been defensively. But all three have been mostly good, the two defenders having occasional howlers. Compared to the midfielders and strikers who have had the odd good month and then been just toss or not involved the rest of the time.

Mackie and Pog will do alright because they've done better recently and have both had mini goal rushes.

Cox, Norwood, Murray & Williams all had good periods that if they'd sustained throughout the season would have seen them walk the vote.

I'm willing to concede my personal bias in terms of not being very fond of Federici and loving Hector, may be skewing this a little.

Whilst I have all the time in the world for de de de Adam Federici, I can't see our player of the year letting in that many goals.....My vote goes for Anton Ferdinand, a little bit of damage limitation.

Agreed with the poll's current top 3 100%.

Up to 6 weeks or so ago Federici was a shoe in. he's been poor recently, however.
The last 2 months Mackie has been superb. One more superb month and he would be a deserved winner.
Hector was '2 good, 2 bad' at the start of the season. Recently he's been superb though.

However, after such a poor season in all honesty nobody deserves PoTS and they all deserve a slap in the face, quite frankly.
Unless...Saturday at Wembley... here's hoping!

Pearce, Norwood & Cox, despite having poor patches have all done far better than them, yet have 0 votes!

Still trying to work out how Michael 'soft free kick' Hector is in third tbh.

I really don't think I can vote for a defender in a season that's seen us been so poor defensively for most of it - particularly not Hector as I don't think I've seen a player so consistently mis-judge the flight of a ball as him.

Yet Mackie has really only been decent for the last couple of months so over the season I don't think he deserves it. He will, of course, though walk the popular vote.

So, despite what I said I'll plump for Fedders - especially as my m8's mrs (whom I cannot abide) spends most matches slagging him off.
