Anton Ferdinand Dead or Alive??

I always thought that as a player he would be an asset at this level, but the questions were always
- will his body stand up to playing more than once a season
- does he want to play, rather than just boost his pension pot
- is what we are paying him good use of funds
It's looking like the answers to 1 and 2 are edging towards positive ones, which may make 3 at least worth being open minded about.
A fit, motivated Anton would be a useful player to have, although we've wasted a year of his contract already....
