Watto has been appointed to his first managerial role. He takes over at Malden and Tiptree with effect from today.

I met him in Basingstoke town centre and almost jumped over a bench to shake his hand, much to the bemusement of my girlfriend (and his young daughter). Like people said before, he's a nice guy and seemed genuinely humbled when I told him how much I rated him.

That would be because he was just that. To claim that he was anything less than an excellent passer of the ball shows a clear and distinct failure to recognise a good footballer (oh, and a jolly decent chappie too!)

I just saw that too. The timing was unfortunate, but it would appear to be a good move for him. Hopefully his parting was amicable and that he has a good run supporting Teddy at Stevenage. I'll be back in a week to wish him luck at his next club

He was walking past on the other side and in my excitement I almost leapt it. Instead, I just walked over to him after shouting 'KEVIN WATSON!'. He was my favourite player when he was here, so the occasion got to me a bit.

My girlfriend thought I was a bit of a kunt at the time. She probably still does, actually.
