Positions to weaken in January

by Royalwaster » 07 Dec 2015 18:00

Thought I'd start an alternative thread .... as it's maybe more realistic that the Thais will cut the cloth as this season is not likely to be a promotion winning one.

Is the current squad good enough (less the loan players) ? No.

Reading need to get back to the formula that made them successful.

Stability.

How the oxf*rd did you work that one out?

If anything they are more likely to go gung-ho in Jan.

From everything I've seen and heard I'd suggest they will invest strongly to get promotion ASAP. My concern is what happens if that doesn't happen for a couple of seasons, they lose patience, and oxf*rd off leaving us in the shit.

Even if that happens, some other billionaire will step in.

Reading are quite an attractive proposition for an oligarch to play a bit of fantasy football with. Cheaper than your Arsenals or Liverpools, yet still play at a relatively high level, and of course close to London / Knightsbridge.

They've already said that the club needs to be in the Premier League to make money, and it it isn't after however long, they would have to look for a new buyer. The quotes are out there from the visit to Thailand in the summer.
