MASSIVE IN FROM ME

Full benefit of the doubt given after all the other nonsense that was going on over his head last time. All aboard the Brian train!

In a field of totally unispiring candidates, Brian stands out as someone of integrity, who has an afinity with the club and will absolutely put his heart and soul into the job. It's a very populist appointment but get the coaching team right and he could work wonders. Definitely an appointment that revives the soul of the club and looks to getting us back to getting the foundations right.

McDermott abosultely loves this football club. You just know that when we lose he'd hurting just as much as us.

I have really grown to the idea of him coming back.

Well back Brian!

Bit harsh people judging Brian on the last few games in the prem. He was working for an owner with no money who evenually placed the club into serious debt.

Reading needed results fast to cover the overspend and Anton saked Brian, appointed Adkins as his own get out of jail card. It didn't work we were worst off under Adkins. Anton sneaked off, the previous 2 managers both failed and we now welcome Brian back.

We start again in a much healthier position ££ with Brain, the club and fans a lot wiser for the experience.

Exactly, very well said. These qualities of integrity and values, having love and loyalty for the club and putting his heart and soul in to the job are more important to me and I think to alot of fans than immediately expecting success or being instantly in the premier league. I will go and watch Reading no matter what division they are in. I don't care what the quality of football is on the pitch. I support Reading no matter what. For me, a club with heart and passion that cares about it's supporters and doesn't rip them off in order to try to secure the signing of an overpaid overpriced footballer is more important.

I have never gone to a football match for the quality of play on the pitch. I have always gone for the match day experience overall. All I want from the players is their effort and passion. Nothing else. Parky was shit but he had passion. That's all I want. Piazon is talented, but he don't give a damn.

The club should always look after it's fans and not take the p*ss. It's unfortunate the atmosphere at the mad stad is not as intense as it was at Elm Park, but that is nothing ripping out the seats in the East Stand can't fix.

"He used to manage Slough, he got sacked at Reading and Leeds and scouted for Arsenal he is a Royal again"

That's hard to sing!

Love it, welcome home.

Genesis in the mid seventies would have a song that'd fit that.
