Not sure how Blackman is still warranting a place in the starting 11. Get back to basics with a 4-4-2

Bond

Gunter
McShane
Cooper
Taylor

McCleary
Norwood
Williams
Quinn

Sa
Vydra

Warranting a place can't possibly be a criteria at the moment. Almost no-one in the squad makes the cut.

Dave-Royal McDermott need to buy or we be in trouble

We need a centre back , Maybe and a striker to rival Sa. Apart from that we have enough to see us through to end of the season should everyone be fit and we can get firing again!

I think with Quinn and Tshibola back our fortunes should improve, it was no surprise we conceded so few shots with them in the team, Quinn being first choice and Tshibola being back up so for both of them to get injured was incredibly unlucky as we missed their dominance in midfield that offered the rest of the team the freedom to push up and attack.

According to BCFC it's:

Reading (4-3-3): Al-Habsi; Gunter, Taylor, McShane, Cooper; Norwood, Williams, Quinn; Blackman, Vydra, Sa.

Subs: Bond, Robson-Kanu, McCleary, Ferdinand, Piazon, Keown, Liburd.

That's everything I'd hoped it would be. We're gonna get hammered aren't we.

Hang on... Al-Habsi... doesn't bode well for Bond.

What the hells the point of keep changing the goalkeeper, from what I saw Bond had a good performance against Brentford ?

Perhaps he is playing Al Habsi as he is worried about an inexperienced keeper alongside an inexperienced centre half

Not sure why we have Cooper playing, Ferdinand now fit is on the bench and probabaly our best defender when he has played this season. team selection continues to be confusing............

Ferdinand is made of glass and is unlikely to be match fit again so quickly, but is fit enough for emergencies. At least that seems the obvious conclusion.

Or McDermott's rotating the squad a bit to get a look at a few other players in a real match situation. Which would be perfectly sensible.

Noooo. He maybe simply drawing names out of a hat and hoping for the best.

Let's see if we can improve his 1 in 7 wins based on current experience at RFC.

If you're going to include any games from his previous tenure years ago you should probably include all of them... but then 45+% were wins weren't they.

Absolute bell end. You're as bad as tabloid press! One of the most ridiculous posts i've ever read on here. You can't just start the stats from a time you select in order to make things look worse. Idiot.

Ferdinando on for McShane. Just what we need, another injury at CH.
