Dreadful goal to give away BUT showing good fight to pull one back against the 2nd best team in the division. If we take any points from this game it will kick us on. Brave, attracting selection, clearly BM has come for points.

howser I think we should be thankful, that according to Nigel Howe, we got clearly the best man to replace Clarke, hell the other applicants must have been pretty shit !!

Mind you perhaps we misheard and he said we'd clearly got 'The Yes Man' to replace Clarke!

Tell us lads, what have you enjoyed about the last couple of seasons since you got the change of manager and "style" that you were craving?

Pepe the Horseman Great ball from hal.

B******s-he just lobbed it across the area-all the credit goes to Williams for attacking the ball in the air with Derby defenders not having the same determination.

:|

You have seen it on Sky Sports haven't you or are you just guessing?
Kanu clips the ball across in the general area of around 4 players 12 yards or so from goal and Williams with a lot to do outjumps the defenders and sends a rocket header into the net.
Well done Williams.

Being in the hunt for the play offs for an entire season, seeing some really quite nice football occasionally, seeing more of the youth and enjoying their success, the competitiveness of the Championship and seeing more games live, the FA Cup run. It could have been much worse.

You're right but even if Brian is given the money that is required to compete effectively at this level I doubt the style of football and entertainment would improve much (there were flashes of entertaining and enjoyable football under both Adkins and Clarke), whereas I think other managers could and would deliver that. Mind you without the investment it's pretty academic.

Dellor calling Gunter "Mr Reliable" sums up his knowledge of football.

RB, we've played some nice stuff in at least two of the last four league games under McDermott.

FYI

Clarke - 19 games - 1.42 ppg, last 9 = 1.13 ppg
McDermott - 4 games - 1.50 ppg

It's not fantastic, but it's really rather early to be judging his second stint and it's still better than Clarke was doing. And Clarke only very intermittently did better than Adkins before him.

In fairness you should rate Clarke's first 4 games to be consistent ... (I can't be bothered to look it up)

Well done Williams.

Great ball into a dangerous area, and Williams did well to get on the end of it.

1.25 ppg. McDermott still superior.

:D

It's also still 1.25 if you do a snowball and deliberately ignore his first game because it was a defeat.

We're doing very well, Derby fans getting restless, even if Derby go on to nick this, the team are showing September form again.

Reading in the ascendancy from what I hear. We need to score from it if we want 3 points here!
