Dislike ex-Reading players

After the return of the useless waste of space and money that was Greg Halford, which other ex-reading players get such a bad reputation at the club and are so disliked?

Usually it seems as if we welcome back old faces (even though they inevitably seem to score against us), but there's obviously a select few like Halford...

Mills is probably the worst IMO

I don't really like Mills but finger-gate aside, he did put in some big performances and was captain. What he didn't do, however, was refuse to play in a game, despite being one of the highest earners in the club's history and for that reason Danny Guthrie will never be forgiven.

I never get annoyed with players like Mills leaving for more money. You can't really blame them and it's been said a thousand times before but they will never have the same association with the club that the fans do. I did think he was a kunt when he played for us, though, so I readily boo him when he does come back.

Rosenior and Halford both slagged off the club after leaving, if I remember correctly, and that is always worth a boo in my eyes. Because we have been so successful over the last decade and a half, almost all of our players get a good reaction when they come back. So, when players do get an earful, you know they are dickheads.

Strangely didn't care much for Sanchez or Doyle on their returns. It was more their nonchalance at us/being back than anything.

Reading that does it not sound like he's saying he doesn't want us to do well in that specific game, not in general as the headline suggests? In the context of him saying he hasn't spoke to friends at the club prior to the game but will after it.

Pretty much what everyone else has said.

For us to boo a former player means they are a proper dickhead. Even Leroy Lita got a half-decent reception.

Pog would get a heroes welcome though. Love that man.
