Brighton (A) Match Thread sponsored by the South Coast Barcelona

by genome » 15 Mar 2016 19:35

Team news:

4-4-2 with Hector and Williams in the middle, Vydra and Kermorgant up top? Different.

Based on BBC and SL I'm guessing more 4-2-3-1 with Vydra behind Kermit, but I could be wrong. Would make sense as we seem to be more interested in keeping out goals rather than scoring them.

If I was to Rougeometer the result I'd go:

Reading by 3+: 0.3%
Reading by 2: 0.9%
Reading by 1: 5.8%
Draw: 35%
Brighton by 1: 24.7%
Brighton by 2: 31.3%
Brighton by 3+: 2%

Dellor obsessing about unopposed headers for Brighton's defence from Al-Habsi kicks. Brighton get a chance off the last one.

No pressure in midfield or around their box at turnovers apparently. Williams and Hector are not a Championship midfield pairing. Ferdinand and McShane way to slow and immobile as a centreback pairing.

Well that's a win well and truly gone from us now as we've not managed to come from behind to win a league game in almost 2 years.

Norwich, November 2014, so about 16 months. Clarke didn't manage it even once. Before that Donny, April 2014, Aug 2013 before that against Ipswich. Thrice over three seasons since relegation.
