Pepe, do you want to work out some sort of insider deal?

If you get the job, we'll split the £10 I'm due to win.

I believe!

Dutchman Martin Jol might be a good bet.

Yip Jaap Stam is a big Dutchman,
Get past him if you f*cking can,
Try a little trick and he'll make you look a dick,
Yip Yap Jaap Stam...

No longer there - they must know something.

Congratulations Ian!

You do realise that as soon as you lose a match this place will turn on you like a pack a rabid dogs.

Just a bit of Photoshopping of Ian Royal in place of Alex McLeish, sadly.

Genuinely wasn't shopped. I even got a bet on.

Hmm... when I looked earlier minutes after the photo was first posted, Alex McLeish must have suddenly been inserted into the betting at the exact same price as Ian Royal as he was 10/1 between Zola and Warnock.

I genuinely wonder if a fan could do as good a job as a pro these days, assuming there is a full complement of technical staff in place to run coaching, do transfer deals etc? Given Brian's insistence of playing McCleary at right back, and a diamond formation that clearly didn't work, I reckon a lot of us might have a fighting chance. One draw in 8 and all that

Even Ian Royal?

On a serious point a fan could make good start by playing players in their positions and using a known / proven formation. At least then the players would have a fighting chance of knowing what to do on the pitch.

Formations don't win matches. Performances do. Brian said as much prior to the Blackburn game and said that was a difficult summer ahead to achieve consistency. A month has now passed and the problems still exist. Half a dozen pre-season friendlies to find a blend. Long season ahead I would say.
