No news (and no leaks) is good news as far as I am concerned.

Stam is the obvious target. Initial discussions taken place, renegotiations are going on whilst Stam focuses solely on soccer aid. Would expect significant movement Monday and Tuesday of next week.

heard that Stam is likely to walk away, as he is not happy with the transfer budget offered.

Now that the lack of kitty 'cat' is out the bag(!!) this will probably mean we can only get someone like Warnock in who's suited to a small budget

A bad choice.

Tall bald and Dutch.

How many successful managers have we had who are tall bald or Dutch?

OK two bald men took us to the Prem but no Dutch or tall people have ever succeeded meaning he's 66.7% a flop and 33.3% maybe OK.

Would we be happy losing 66.7% of our games? I think not.

Jimmy Quinn was tall and had a receding hairline.
Alan Pardew was married to a Dutch person. Or a Swede, or something.
So all things are possible.

Stam's still odds on. Zola's 2/1 with BetVictor and 7/1 on the Betfair exchange.

On Stam's performance in the charity game, before he pulled up with a hamstring, I think he could still do a job for us on the pitch.

Terrific, never played in the Chump, no idea about the players or teams in this league, absolutely no experience of managing a football club at any level, but the owners have heard of him because he played for Man U who sell a lot of shirts in Thailand so he must be good.

Skybet have us 7/1 for promotion, they really need to go and have a lie down.

I have to agree. How many overseas managers have won promotion from the Championship ? I know boro boy did it last year after spending 40 million. We haven't spent that in our history! Never thought I would say this bit I would have prefered Warnock.
