Nameless There's 'interest' but that's not the same as it being'likely' he's on his way !
Time will tell, but I agree it's a test of the Thai's commitment to taking the team forward.
I'd think Palace would be a much better option for him then either Villa or Celtic

I think you'll find he'll go, dont think it'll be Palace as game time will be limited unless they loan him out ? ..

I doubt you have a clue what he'll do, and of course it's primarily down to whether we get any offers and whether we want to sell him !
Where he might go would be about who offers the most, and you'd think a Premiership club would be able to offer a very significantly higher wage than a second tier side.

Sutekh
John Smith Overrated, always injured, only played 13 games. Goodbye and hello cash

Just signed a new deal hasn't he? I would suggest slapping a £10m price tag on him and building the team around him here.

Does that happen now then ?!

AthleticoSpizz Good spot '88

I see (HNA's extended family) Getreading are showing the same headline

As for the N'arge link....can only come up with John Polston, Jamie Cureton and Andy Hughes...from memory

John Polston is now a personal trainer and runs boot camps in Wokkers.

Apparently he likes the new set up at Reading with new manager saying all the right things. Keen to stay and get a long run in the team. Seems very level headed.

You've spoken to him or his family, then?

According to Sunday papers, Norwich have agreed a fee of £2m for Tshibola. Surely he must be worth more than that, and I would rather get rid of Williams , Norwood or Quinn before letting the youngster go.

if this is true then just LOL at the Thai's and the first action in their plan to "Build" using the academy being selling one of our top young players.

Tish is one of the best young players we have ever produced. If he is sold I would be both angry and amazed.

Ping pong balls on the pitch first game unless we get to spend the 5m that we should really get for him.

Wish Hammond was here.

If true il say this... oxf*rd off Reading just oxf*rd off!! Selling one of our best youngsters to a championship rival who's easily worth treble a £2m fee.

Oh and oxf*rd off Thais! You're destroying our club

Keep calm guys, it's the Mirror and some shite website no-one's heard of. There are no corroborating accounts from anyone trusted like Alan Nixon or Charles Watts, as well as that he's everything Jaap and the rest have been preaching about since day one: strong, young and on a permanent deal. We'd be insane to let him go for a pittance, especially less than one year into a deal. I'm witholding judgement.

Nothing less than £8 million for him this window.

Only £2m for one of our best youngsters, and possibly our best midfielder? That is a joke!

And when we're being told there isn't much money available, and we need to rely on the academy, we then see our suspect owners sell one of our best youngsters that we absolutely 100% need to build a team around, questions really do need to be asked.

£2m with a nice sell on clause makes sense. He's only made 13 appearances and is clearly injury prone. Not going to be worth much more than that :|

If it transpires that he is sold for £2m and the other story about Japp wanting some man u kid on loan is also true, my decision to not renew my season ticket will be justified. I hate loan players. They are only of some benefit if it is a loan with a view to a permanent signing. And as for selling promising youngsters, I thought we were going to be basing our team on the very best of our academy? Could be tricky if we sell the better ones leaving ourselves with the ones that noone else wants.

This club is slowly going to shit.
