Nothing racist or anything, lots about him having a massive dick, banging in goals like women, hope he kicks Nick Blackman in his small dick etc.

Immature and slightly amusing more than anything.

maffff The more I think about Yakou Meite the harder it is to not get excited about him - so many options for chants.

From the simple "Feed the Yak and he will score"
to similar based from feed the world - "Feeedddd the Yaaaakkkkkk, 'cos he knows it's scoringtime again"

to Mariappa's 500 miles "I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more (Nath?) just to be the man who walked a thousand miles to see Yakou Meite score.. Yakou Meite, Yakou Meite, dun-dun-dun-dundundun-dun-dun-dundun. (probably one of my least favourite chants ever... no one could keep time  )

Johny Salako "Yakou Meite, Yakou-Yakou Meite....."

or even the Noel Hunt chant. "ya-kou-Mei-te-MEI-TE-MEI-TE...ya-kou-Mei-et-MEI-TE-MEI-TE..." etc.

It'll be feed the Yak, no doubt, but the possibilities are endless.

Exactly. Minor ankle injury and then appendicitis. Not expected to be in contention until after the international break. Guess the Portsmouth game (think that is after the QPR or Rotherham game isn't it?) may be the first chance he gets to be involved again if all goes well with his injuries and health.

Gutted for this man having his first goal for us disallowed on Saturday, looked onside to me. Good finish as well.

Been wondering for a while if Meite could play as the guy up top instead of Kermie? Reckon Meite could bring more goals to the team which is what we need, still lacking that goalscorer.

Could even try playing McCleary in the middle if Meite prefers to play wide? Good to see Garath score a couple from open play, he just needs to add more goals to his game, he has the ability.

We are exceeding expectations and it's great that we're in 4th and I can't believe it but imagine we could have been doing even better had we had a goalscorer from the start of the season.

Thought he looked good off the bench Saturday. Still raw but is direct, strong and has pace.

Poor blokes never going be able to claim a goal though

At first I presumed it was like our old stalwart Péter Máté (Pee-ter May-tay)

But I'm going with Yakou Méïte (ya-koo May-ta)

Either way, feed the yak and he will score

Were you at the game? They didnt show much of him in the highlights so I dont have much to judge him on!
In the short highlight I saw of him his movement looked good and he was certainly direct although he looked a little slow? I would love to hear thats not the case!

Méïte - the 2 dot accent above the i means you split the vowel sounds (like in naïve)

so it would be Meh-eyte (sort of)

Was there Saturday. Yeah his movement looks good and he was demanding the ball off the players. Don't think he's very slow, just not up to full match fitness yet.

In his last 2 games he seems to have shown a real desire to score. Does he look like he could play up top by himself?
