SCIAG And Quinn came off injured after 20 minutes...

Brilliant.. :| :(

Another one for the RFC glue factory production line by the looks. Roberts, Samuel, Kebe, Quinn, Karacan, Tish, Ilori, Rakels...
Given we love crocks so much I'm beginning to wonder why we didn't sign Bradley Wright-Phillips that time.

Oh yeah this guy still exists!

Nick Hammond is an absolute Reading legend and I won't have any other word said on the matter.

Wright-Phillips has a really good record recently. He's only missed two games in three years through injury.

Admittedly he's playing in the MLS.

The EP seems to think that he is just returning to training but still a few weeks away from playing.

Rakels came on as a 69th minute substitute for Latvia against Switzerland so I assume he will be involved in the match day squad for Leeds next week.

Not entirely convinced, but he can't be any worse than Grabban.

Will be good to see him back.

Under new management and not having to play second fiddle to the likes of Vydra etc etc...he has his chance to make a nuisance of himself

Liam Kelly and Jordon Mutch are both back in training as is Tiago Ilori but Tiago needs a bit more time to regain match fitness.

Most importantly though, Paul McShane has recovered from his hamstring problem and will be available for Saturday.

Return of the Rak (come on)
Return of the Rak (oh my God)

Return of the Rak (once again)
Return of the Rak (top of the world)

You know that he'll be back (here I go)

I haven't seen any mention of it previously, but apparently George Evans is "still out"

The only thing he can add is that it makes more sense of our current favourite song if he's playing

Hopefully we can finish the season with McShane, Moore and Ilori getting some experience playing together and a few more games for Kelly, and Watson.

Be nice if we could be clear of 7th with 2-3 games to go to get some of the younger players a bit more safe game time.

Injuries

Unfortunately missed the Leeds game as on holiday, concerned that despite international break still no Van Der Berg and McShane, also heard Obita injured Saturday, any updates ?

Obita seemed to have cramp.
Williams was helped off the pitch at the end by Stam
Oxford had his head jumped on.
Blackett has bruising to his fist

Not sure if there's anything to add on the injury front or not.

Berg picked up a slight hamstring niggle in training last week and the club decided to rest him so theoretically is in contention for Tuesday

McShane is back in training apparently but taking it easy with his hamstring problem, again is in contention for Tuesday but club may decide to rest him unless there's a defensive panic

As to the injures collected on Saturday, Obita had bad cramp in his calf, he should be available while Williams twisted his ankle so the club will be monitoring how it reacts before deciding.

And Reece probably has a bit of a headache but should ok.

Ilori, Rakels are training but need to build up fitness. Rakels should be ready before Ilori.

Joey van den Berg - out until Easter
George Evans - out for about another 2 weeks
Callum Harriott - back in training but probably still a few weeks from playing
Paul McShane - won't be risked until Easter period
Jordan Obita - should be back in the squad at the weekend
Stephen Quinn - Still a way off playing. To be honest I think he's out until next season

Believe all others are currently fit and their non appearance on matchdays is just because Jaap feels he has better options for that particular game.

For the play offs though we could only have Quinn missing (plus the return of Fosu, Stacey and Cooper - play offs with their current clubs allowing of course).
