Wasn't long ago Reading were a feeder club for Prem teams. Now we are feeding Championship teams. Bit of an oof, that.

genome I'm still not over that fcuking Fulham game.

I distinctly remember walking away from the ground feeling like our season had completely changed.

The worst part was that I couldn't get online to stick a judas bet on when went 2 up.

the answer here is obvious, step forward Mr Liam Kelly, can take a corner, has a better free kick and can pass the ball just as well. Norwood isn't such a big loss. Plus today we are getting a new player in to be announced around 10.30am

I quite liked Norwood, but he was just like a more applied version of Guthrie. Good set pieces, occasionally, picked a pass, occasionally, but irreplaceable, no.

The fact that no one in the bottom half of the prem came in for him probably says a lot about his level of consistency.

Wish him all the best on his stepping stones to being a prem player, but not sure he'll quite get there.

I don't know if I can even give him that, switch occasionally to rarely and it sounds about right, even his free kicks at Euro 2016 were pretty abysmal.

Last season it seemed he had no ability to beat the first man which, inevitably ended up with a swift counter attack, set pieces ended up being more of a hindrance than a benefit.

Nigel Howe on radio Berkshire stated we are getting a new player today around 10.30am . I am going to assume it is Liam Moore but he didn't give any details

Another case of bitterness towards a player many rated when he was playing for Reading. Now he's signed for Brighton. Ahh, he wasn't that good anyway.

Where have I seen a similar scenario - ah yes, only last season when Nick Blackman joined a championship club too.

Not saying Norwood wasn't good for us, but we do have other players that can play that position just as well if not better.

Nick Blackman was very one dimensional and got found out very easily upon his upon his move to Derby and i was never really a fan of his. However saying that if he was played central in the system we are going to play this season he would score alot i reckon.

In which case we were proved correct.

Revisionist nonsense anyway Kes, Norwood had his detractors during his time here.

Decent player, but as with every player in the current squad I'm not fussed he's gone.

Don't forget Blackman played in the Fulham away game though Kes, which is where the wheels really came off last season.

But he joined a different team. Which is a totally different scenario to sticking with the same team being surrounded by the same players who know your game. You can't compare.
