There for the taking and we unsurprisingly appear to be gifting them the win. We really really need a defence that doesn't consist of soft Gunter, soft and fouly Obita and overly physical fouly midfielder VDB.

Depressing after a promising start, albeit against a poor poor Preston.

Who would have thought an ex defender couldn't get his team to defend - at all?

I'd like him to get his team to stop conceding stupid fcuking goals and play with some bollocks.

Seriously, can people relax a bit. When the fixtures were announced, with trips to Wolves, Newcastle and Cardiff announced most expected a slow start esp. given the past two years and a new manager bedding in new players and a new way of playing.

At home, we have seen some decent signs, away we are clearly a long way off being competitive. This opening run of away games hardly helps that. We need to improve but not time to be too disappointed at the moment.

Reality starting to kick in now.

At home, the passing game might work out as teams sit back and let us play.
Away from home, the Championship teams will maul us.

We have no plan B for playing away games, it seems. We must hope that we win all of our home games or we're in for a very rough ride again this season.

You would think his face alone would be enough to scare the sh&t out of the players and get them to up their game.

I just think it wouldn't have taken a good team to get something out of this game.

Our defence needs serious work from the keeper who costs us goals game after game after game. Yes he makes saves but he's a fcuking keeper. He should.

We desperately need a solid CB and hope Jakkolla is better than Habsi.

Can Evans, swift or williams actually tackle?

Any of them? We need a defensive midfielder and have done for about 5 years.
