He's signing

Went on loan to a couple of Swiss team last couple of seasons and neither wanted him.

I'm sure our fans will give him at least 3 or 4 games to make an impact.

Been unattached all summer. Our wonder star and arrogant Cnut Brian trevereneddenenden clearly sees something in him that the whole world of football clearly does not.

I'm actually really annoyed about this. We were told youth were going to be given a chance and yet we're signing YET ANOTHER midfielder.

We need a left back, we need a right back. We need a centre back. We maybe need a centre forward. We don't need a oxf*rding central midfielder!!

George Evans
Joey van den Berg
Stephen Quinn (Who Stam hasn't seen yet)
Danny Williams
John Swift
+ a few decent young players...

6 into 3 doesn't go. Jaap, we're not in the champions oxf*rdng league!

When will managers realise that bloated squads are unhappy squads are underperforming squads.

I fear Williams will be off and Quinn is injured more than he's fit

Don't know how well he plays his position, but this guy is supposedly a defensive midfielder. None of the players you mentioned are defensive midfielders, with the possible exception of Joey, and with Tish gone I don't know any of the academy lads who could fill in there. As a young player struggling for game time for abroad I don't think he will demand much playing time and could prove to be a decent squad player, someone to give us another option.

He comes from Liechtenstein, so gets my vote.

Saw him play against Austria for them and was actually pretty good that night.

Maybe going to try him as a CB if he is more of a defensive CM.

Joey Van Den Berg V2?

Foul on Yapi Yapo
FC Zurich launched legal proceedings against Wieser after the 21-year-old committed a knee-high challenge on Gilles Yapi-Yapo in a match on 9 November 2014, leaving the former Ivory Coast international's career in serious doubt.[5] Yapi-Yapo suffered torn anterior and cruciate ligaments, a torn meniscus, a torn kneecap tendon, serious cartilage damage and deep bruising to his thigh after the incident.[6] Wieser was shown a straight red card for the tackle, and was later suspended for six matches by the Swiss league.[7] With Yapi-Yapo highly unlikely to ever play again, club president Ancillo Canepa launched legal proceedings against Wieser.[8]

The end result is awful, but on this view wasn't intentional. Went for a bouncing ball was beaten to it. Follow through caused the damage.

According to TransferMarkt he can also play central defence- so maybe this signing will be instead of Liam Moore should that transfer fall through.

I'm afraid that was a lazy, cowardly tackle. Finished the guys career. At least he showed remorse.
At best he will have learned from that.
We don't want another Terry Hurlock in our team.
