Where do you think we will stand after 10 games.?

There seems to be some concensus that after 10 games you will get a general idea of which end of the table you will be most likely occupy.
Given the relatively tough opening fixtures and the inevitable settling in period what would be your opinion? Especially like to hear from those that have seen the majority of games.
It does seem that we need to develop an away day strategy to calm the nerves but work in progress appears the mantra of the day.
Would be happy with mid table personally and an exciting brand of football .
In addition had ad a sneaky bet on Wolves top 6 and Leeds to implode....probably going to lose both bets

How do you bet on a Leeds implosion?

With so many managerial and player changes may take longer than 10 games. Still a few days to the transfer\loan window closes. So squads aren't even finalised.

13th - 17th somewhere. Call it 16th if you want to narrow it down to one place.

We'll pick up decent points at home but struggle away. Hopefully this year we can get stronger as the season progresses and finish on a relative high, rather than fall apart and end on a whimper.

So that's 5 down.

I'd say the next 5 games are all against teams who are our level of opponent... September is going to see us play some really great fixtures. Two home games to get the month rolling too, which is great. I'm looking forward to the Friday night football after the break already.

I'm going to say we will move up the table over the course of the next month but once the 10th game finishes, my prediction is 10th.

You go to a bookies (physically, online, by phone, or whatever) and ask them to accept your bet. Simple really.

WLLDW Seems pretty consistent with 14th so far, so I'll stick with that.

Still struggling to do damage in the opposition box it seems. Still not passing with enough pace and purpose. Still not really got a good enough pool of goalscorers. Defence should be more solid. Work in progress with plenty to build on with the right patience and persistence.

Have to say it feels good to see Villa,Derby and Sheffield.Wed below us even though it is only after 5 games.
Who would have thought that Huddersfield ,Fulham and Barnsley would be occupying the leading places.??
We have a had tough set of opening games and if we can maintain a decent home record over the next few matches we should be handily placed.
Certainly exceeding my expectations at present and long may it continue.

with Bristol City up there as well. Problem with that is some of those teams we were probably all expecting to finish below us. Could be tough at the bottom this season

Agreed That's why the Championship is such an absorbing competition .
in Germany the Bundesliga is a decent standard (at least the top 5) but the 2nd tier is abject! !

This is why the table is meaningless until at least 10 games have been played.

Looking at our next 5 fixtures I'm actually quite optimistic, could easily see us in or around the play-offs.

By Xmas the pecking order will be well established. Never known a season with so many changes. Owners, players and managers.

2 homes games up next - ideally want to be looking at 4 points from those at least.

Barnsley and Huddersfield after that, hard to tell at the mo if they are good or just had favourable fixtures. Truth probably is somewhere in between - for Huddersfield to be top after away games at Newcastle and Villa is not to be sniffed at. Can see us maybe only getting 3pts from those two and maybe a draw at Brentford.

So 8pts, giving us 15 from 10, about 12th then.
