From Despair To Where? It's the slow, steady possession football that Platypus dislikes, it allows the opposition to get men behind the ball, get organised and be more difficult to break down.

More attacking urgency should in theory give them less chance to form up and get organised and us more chance of creating chances.

It does feel like I'm stating the obvious there.

The trick is to slowly move the ball to recover our fitness whilst maneouvering the opposition across the pitch until a bit of space opens up or someone moves unexpectedly and then immediately go up two gears to incisively take advantage of it.

Too often our passing in recent years has lacked purpose and just been amongst the defence, surrendering initiative until the opposition press we run out of room and go long on a percentage we lose.

Really surprised Swift isn't playing. Williams has his place, but his strengths are largely countered by his own weaknesses.

Still, we *should* be harder to score against with VDB, Evans, Moore and Blackett in.

Mine came through about 10 minutes into the game. You could try logging out then logging back in. I agree the service this season is a load of rubbish, makes you wonder if the club are trying to make to go to the games instead of listening on the Player. Or, you can access the Cardiff commentary but going to their website.

Throw in level with their 6 yard box. 2 touches later it's with Al Habsi. Just

The stream kindly provided by Josef Fritzl is working perfectly - no annoying pop ups or installers required either.

If we could have a shot on goal that would be great

Ironically I was intending to go but talk of Bank Holiday traffic put me off

Thanks for the suggestions...

And now Kermorgant airkicks at a great opportunity from a corner!

We need a decent striker before the window closes!

So, 6 games in and aren't we still waiting for a striker to score a goal?

Quinn's made a bit of a difference already - trying to inject some urgency.

I'm seriously beginning to think a move for Le Fondre could be in the offing now that we've played Cardiff.

The real winner today (and possibly the only one) is Mrs Dillon.

How many times today have you thought, "ooh, nice play"?

Even a work in progress should be doing more. Is it the mindset, the players or both?
