Reading starting XI vs Cardiff: Al-Habsi, Gunter, Blackett, Moore, McShane (c), Van den Berg, Evans, Williams, Beerens, McCleary, Kermorgant

Reading subs vs Cardiff: Jaakkola, Swift, Mendes, Obita, Harriott, Quinn, Watson.
Very surprised Swift is on the bench !!

When was the last time none of a league starting 11 came through our academy?

All that bollocks talked over the Summer...

Van den Berg taking Swift's spot in CM is an absolute joke.

We were comfortably beaten away from home in both games this season, Van den Berg and Evans will offer more defensive support from midfield and Williams is an absolute workhorse, no doubt if we're chasing something he'll bring Swift on for a bit more creativity.

Heard that Swift is off to Wolves for £3m so isn't playing in case he gets injured

I'll just sit here and wait for someone to actually believe that.

Radio Berkshire is not allowed to broadcast from their site due to terms of their contract. Berkshire on Reading Player only just come through however.

Possession won't win us the game but it sounds like we're actually doing something more constructive with it today.

So we've had 75% possession, but shots = 0-4 !?

At h/t 67% possession, shots 0-6. The new Reading way.
