Silver Fox Some absolute tit texting radio berks to say Garath should pay for everyone's tickets and travel if we lose. I really do despair about Reading fans sometimes

Garath is not a dirty player (this is his first card this season) so I'll be interested to see exactly what he did to be sent off.

Sounded like over-exuberant attempt to protect team-mate (Williams). Ran over to their player who was standing over Williams and pushed him with both hands in the chest/shoulder. His speed caused it to look worse than it was, but either way it was arms raised. Mick & Tim were in no doubt it should have been red.

From what I can gather Williams and Hourihane got into something and McCleary came in and pushed Hourihane to the ground. McCleary saw red and Hourihane yellow for the whole thing.

Sounds harsh. Pushes should be a yellow card to all but the illiterate.

He apparently ran in from miles away and shoved the guy to the ground two handed. Nailed on red according to the commentary.

According to BBC Berks he came charging over and pushed the player over raising both hands to do so. Gooding said it would be a red as soon he did it. Ref apparently had no choice, utterly stupid thing to do.

And Obita has come on for Swift.

Next task perhaps should be to try and wind up Hourihane or Hammill.

Blackett and Armstrong (Barnsley) booked now. Ref trying to make it as difficult as possible. Be good if we could somehow jam a third goal. Plus I sense a good 5 minutes injury time on this one as a minimum.

I'd say attempts to do that are more likely to result in another red for us.

Saaaaaaaammmmmm I have nothing really sensible to add on McCleary other than

Didn't exactly come across well when getting into a meaningless argument with fans on Twitter recently

It was by no means 'meaningless' since he was making a very valid point to some mindless fans!

Janko and Bradshaw on for Barnsley so they've now used all their subs. Reading still have 2 options they can make.
