Don't know how long it'll last, but Reading now have a positive goal difference for the first time since the opening day of the season and they're 5th in the table at the start of play

Hardly, we've lost leads twice as large before.

Anyone know what the biggest lead Reading have had in a league game and then gone on to fail to win? I can think of throwing away 3 goal leads before.

An early goal suits our style perfectly, keeping the ball making the opposition chase us down tiring them out, forcing them to come to us and exploiting the space it causes. Under Stam we've taken the lead in the first half seven times and we've won six of those matches, drawing once. I'm extremely confident this will be three points against a side in the bottom three who've only scored six goals at home so far this season.

Millwall and Port vale spring to mind back at Elm park. 3-0 up and both 3-3 draws

We haven't scored 3+ in a game since Charlton last season. This has to be the day to change that.

Remember that Port Vale match very well, Nogan hattrick wasn't it? Danger of history repeating here? Was gutted at the end of that game.

Don't think we'll throw this away, we're usually so good with 2-0 leads.

How long do you reckon until Reading manage to set up "squeaky bum" time?
