How bloody negative.

I actually fancy Reading to win this. Away... "big club"... cup game, the Jaap effect and man uniteds dire few seasons. No one is afraid of them anymore. Nowt to lose other than a cup exit for little Reading.

This should be Saturday 7th or Sunday 8th shouldn't it?

Personally would love it to be 530 on Saturday. Night up in Manchester

Let's hope it is on TV and we don't have to trek up to that dump of a ground.

How could you not get excited about playing Man Utd, especially with Jaap's return, on top of United being in complete meltdown this season

Fans already complaining on Twitter about other fans, apparently these games mean too many plastics in the away end, at this rate we won't be allowed to sit down or stand

Says a lot about the draw that we're the pick of the round, definitely the worst 3rd Round I can remember, not a single decent game for the neutral... BBC will probably go with West Ham vs City and BT will show us and Preston/Arsenal

Would've loved a top team, but still a decent draw.

Boro took 11,500 last season.
Most teams allocated 9,000, I just hope our fans can be botheredw

Last season Man Utd drew Sheffield Utd at home in the 3rd Round and got given the Saturday evening slot on BT (won 1-0 thanks to a 93rd minute Rooney penalty)

It's also worth noting they play Hull in the EFL Cup on the Tuesday following our game, so that rules out Sunday/Monday

At least we have beaten Man Utd. once in our 19 meetings with them, it was only ninety years ago. Don't remember it myself, though. That year we got to the semi-final, so lets hope for a repeat, or better still going one step further.

If me and 3points go then put a fiver on Gunter scoring an own goal - he normally does at the away games we've been to ...

On a serious note; the draw does excite me; no doubt it'll excite our Stamalamadingdong too

Not as if we had a chance of winning the cup anyway , and in any case we are a beautiful blue and white banana skin for United. Will be epic.

I'd be well up for this, except mrs leon is probably working and a weekend getting battered up North would cause all manner of domestic grief.
