BBC Berks suggested on Saturday that Beerens was carrying a slight injury, and has been for the last few weeks, which would go a little way towards explaining his recent dip in form and now his disappearance from the squad.

Royality creeps In We played better without him
Hes missed 4 league games for us this season iirc one of which was the loss against Derby. What were the other 3?
He has a groin injury , so he's been rested for a game or two.

The only other league game he missed this season was the 3-0 win at Wigan, he didn't play in either of the Brighton or Arsenal cup games
You might be thinking of Joey who missed his 5th league game of the season against Derby
Probably says a lot about Roy's contribution this season that I was genuinely surprised that up until Saturday he had only missed one game all season, otherwise an ever-present
