Brentford looked good. Fantastic cross for their first goal.

Think Barnsley made them look good. They kept going down the right and getting round the back.

Brentford always look good. Thats what they do, before ending up mid-table again

When Brentford lose Ollie Watkins in January they will sink without a trace.

A common misconception. They’ll find someone else to replace the mould of Watkins, before selling them on for a profit in a few years and repeat...im sure people would have said similar things after losing Dean, Egan, Maupay, Jozefzoon, Sawyers, Woods, Jota, Vibe, Colin etc etc...

Sink without a trace in terms of any promotion push, didn't mean sinking to League 1. Brentford's business model is a very good one providing they are content with playing Championship football forever, they must be very financially secure.

Their model is good but only to a certain extent. It’s clear they’re not reinvesting enough of their profits because they’re constantly finishing in the same position. I’m not sure any owner would be happy to be stuck in the Championship for a long time. I thought the signing of Jansson could help but it hasn’t really made a difference yet

From where Brentford were and have been the majority of their existence I don't think being stuck in a Championship is necessarily a bad thing.

Do see your point but the underlying argument is that they’re not making progress. Even if they went from 20th to 17th to 14th etc, they’d be achieving progress at least. Finishing 12th each season isn’t progress and whilst it’s a completely different case, rotting in the Championship will often lead to relegation, like with Ipswich last year

guessing Brentford will be a bit more ambitious with spending money once their stadium move is complete

They're happy enough I'm sure with how things have gone the last 3-4 years

So Keogh's career is basically over. 15 month injury apparently

Bizarrely Derby sound like they are considering the other 2 goons to play on Wednesday. Not sure how that is going to go down

What message does that send? They should be paraded around the pitch at half time shackled together and have rotten fruit thrown at them by the crowd, nothing more.

Stoke vs Huddersfield today. Odds on a draw? Only two winless teams so far in the Champ

Cardiff 3-0 QPR
Luton 1-1 Millwall
Brentford 1-1 Bristol
Charlton 1-2 Swansea
Barnsley 2-2 Derby

Barnsley with a 94 minute equaliser. Just what that scum Lawrence and Bennett deserve. Hope they lose every single game this season with those two on the pitch

Probably not going to be too many games that though is it?

Genuinely cannot believe they played the pair of them

At least some of the crud at the bottom hasn’t got away from us. How depressing to be looking out for that yet again
