URZZZZ
Hound That challenge for the penalty

Sawyers is a lovely player. £3m wasn’t it?

VAR would still take five minutes to decide it

On form, there aren’t many better midfielders than Sawyers. Think it was around 3m yeah

Hound no John Swift OMA?

Think Sawyers is a better alround player than Swift imo, better engine.

Wouldn't disagree. But by that logic you'd say you'd rather we had permacrock Nick Powell than John Swift?

or for that matter, Grimes, McNair, Allen, Forshaw etc

A fit Nick Powell is potentially up there with the best of them in the division. I wasn't basing it on the fitness side of things though, more just out and out ability.

Grimes has looked great every time I have seen Swansea this season. McNair is very good at what he does. Forshaw you could make a case for Swift being ahead of him, slightly different players though.

Daniel Johnson would also be in contention to feature in that list.

Gareth Ainsworth in his prime would have made the list too.

Joe Allen looks shot to me. Dack is ok scores some. Not sure about his all round game. Cairney is a Fulham player so I refuse to acknowledge him.

I think Sawyers is right up there amongst all the more illustrious names to be fair. Bargain at £3m; controls games.

Swift is having his best season to date for us, but still has a little way to go before being considered a top player at this level.

As is Arter but I’ll make an exception to point out that appalling dive he did that got him red carded. And Roy stick it up your bollocks Keane doesn’t like him, so it’s not looking good.

Pele is actually very highly rated on transfermarkt which surprised me. Wish he would show it a bit more for us.

Has taken time to get used to the speed of the game here I think. Him and Rinomhota would be solid
