Old Man Andrews Like we are even going to get anywhere near their goal. Won't make the slightest bit of difference, Leeds are in a different world to us.

They lost to Millwall.

its OMA's strange attempts to fish for arguments. I'm sure he believes that no more than you do

Been chatting to a Macam friend today and the reports are not at all good about Parky.

Apparently, there are some of the longer serving players that are causing some unrest.

He thinks Parky's trying hard but isn't going to cut it.

And that’s Sunderland in a nutshell. No wonder they’re shit and going nowhere. Parkys not a big enough name for such a massive club.

Well after talking to a few Spurs fans i get the feeling that they would rather have Prince Andrew in charge.

(P.S. Real Spurs fans that go to the games.)

That's because Spurs supporters are completely delusional, whiny, moany, self entitled and so used to failure that it warps their tiny minds. They think they have the "Spurs way" and Mourinho will change that. The Spurs way is just a myth, its meaningless. They haven't won anything for about 10 years now, 10 years!! Pochettino won nothing for them, he failed. Mourinho doesn't fail and before someone says it he didn't fail at United, he won the Europa League and League Cup with them and took them to 2nd in the league. Where are they now? Nowhere.

Mourinho is a winner, Spurs are losers and always have been. Daniel Levy is trying to change that and he's doing it by employing one of the most successful club managers of all time. Anyone who thinks he is a bad manager needs to look at the stuff he has won, it stands up against any manager in history.

But OMA, you’ve got to look at it from both sides. You’re missing the point. Very few people are saying he is a “bad manager”. People are just worried about his personality and the way he ends up alienating most of his squad

When it’s all going well for him, he has everyone on side and achieves good things, but you have to look at how sustainable this approach is. Because more often that not, he ends up failing miserably in his third season after a couple of poor results, throwing his players under the bus etc...

You can also sort of tell he’s a bit of a knob by the fact he’s jumping from big club to big club in England. He was supposed to be a Chelsea “legend”, going to United and Tottenham doesn’t exactly portray this

But does he win things with the club first?

So he isn't ever meant to work again because his first club over here was Chelsea?

Does he always leave a club on bad terms? Yes. Does he always win things before that point? Yes. Spurs and Levy want to win things, Mourinho will deliver trophies.

Apart from possibly Chelsea where Abramovichs money was the game changer he’s always gone into clubs that are high achievers in their leagues that win things.

Spurs is a wrung below that so it will be interesting to see how he deals with that.

Just had a scan through this thread: https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/p ... n.1494549/

They are a seriously deluded fan base - claim he should never have got a job and they need to get rid to get someone else in and then give that bloke time. Clearly overlooking the fact that if someone better than Parky were willing to take it, they probably would have (and it will be the same people hiring the new guy, who hired Parky). Also dissing his record as something that won't get you promoted ignoring the fact he has 2 lower league promotions under his belt and a couple of play-off appearances too.

Sunderland's fan base need to get real about who they are now else, they will have to get used to League 1 football (at best) for the forseeable future.

No one wants to go to Sunderland because it’s shit. That’s why they have to pay massive wages for mediocre players.

Yep. Terrible appointment. Utd are such a state because of the mess he left them in.

Chelsea improved once he left again.

Everything about his approach is negative and toxic.

He's a dinosaur and a horrendous person.

But oh well, they might win the FA Cup under him.... :|

Roy Keane basically said that in his autobiography didnt he?

Not sure what Reading's excuse is. Fat Gourlay maybe.

Proof once again you know nothing about football.

How many trophies did he win at the clubs you mentioned? He is a winner, nothing else is important.

Much of that is absolutely true, but he isn't solely responsible for the Manure mess. That's been a festering sore since 12 months before Ferguson left, despite the fact that they won the title that year. In all seriousness, it could be a Liverpool style gap in title winning for Utd.
