Hound Hull are useless aren’t they? Must be getting pretty nervous

Since the end of the window, they’ve conceded:

5 goals to Brentford
1 goal to us (1-1 draw)
3 goals to Blackburn
4 goals to Swansea
2 goals to Preston
1 goal to Barnsley (but a 1-0 loss)
3 goals today

Spot the odd one out

Hull 0-4 now...one side actually in worse form than us.

10 players out injured and best 2 sold in Jan...they're in freefall

Leeds are showing their brilliance today, far too good for the division. Premier League here they come!

Luton Barnsley and Hull will go down, very poor sides.

Luton will survive IMO. Can see Charlton dropping with Barnsley and Hull

Then WBA and Fulham up in automatics with the winner of the PO’s being Forest who are able to grind out results without ever playing that well

If Middlesborough hold on for the win, we will be only 6 points clear of the relegation places. Barnsley and Luton won`t catch us but 3rd from bottom is really tight !!

All gone pear(s) shaped for Boro this season

Wonder if their fans regret hounding Pulis out now

Doubt it. Would go as far as to say relegation is a more attractive option than watching Pulis-ball all season long.

Talking to a Boro friend of mine Woodgate-ball hasn't been much fun either ...

In relegation zone with 38 points from 36....thank God there have been so many poor teams in the last 2 seasons. It was 16/17 that Blackburn went down with 52 points. Wouldn't be surprised if it's around that mark this season.

You may be right - there are currently still 20 games to be played against each other for the sides placed 16th and below. So there will be lots of sides taking points of each other.

Wigan feature in 7 of those games, so on there current form you can see them pushing up to mid-table comfort.

Stoke's next 5 games see them play no-one higher in the league that us - whilst their final 5 feature 4 sides going for either automatic promotion or the play-offs - so if they don't pick up 9 or 10 points in that run, they may well be in trouble.

Boro's run-in looks very mid-table but they really need to find a win from somewhere to arrest their slide - lose at Charlton this weekend and I think that may be them gone as confidence will be shot.

Very good goal. Was very happy it stood as well as it would have been so easy to give a cheap foul just for there being pressure on the goalkeeper. Charlton v Boro on Saturday is now box office stuff.
