URZZZZ Neil Harris on the verge of being sacked, as the aim for Cardiff this season was promotion. Apparently they've began talking to other managers but haven't found anyone as of yet - but I'd be surprised if Harris is there much longer, barring a miraculous run

Aside from that and a much more serious manner, Bamba has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma and has started chemotherapy treatment

Sad to hear about Bamba I always highly rated him and a player I wish Reading had signed on numerous occasions. Get well soon Bamba

That's two giants from our game (Diop being the other one) recently to have had major health problems and in Diop's case sadly he died.
Good luck to Bamba, another gentle giant.

It’s been a rough time for Cardiff City with Sala dying in that awful plane crash and the sad demise of Peter Whittingham. Here’s hoping Sol Bambs Beats this and makes a full recovery.

Looks from the stats like millwall well on top as well. Only 2 shots on target for Bournemouth

Happy with that

Unfortunately Bournemouth are at home to Luton on Saturday so likely to go five clear of us from one game more but with our injuries easing top two is still a target.

3/4 points off the automatics at the half way point is a very good place to be given the injury crisis we've endured so far.

Has been for a couple of weeks I think - not sure there are any plans for him to sign there but he knows the club from his time on loan there so makes sense for him to train there and wouldn't be surprised if there ends up being a deal there if no other interest comes in.

Crazy that he still isn't 30.

Yes, they are saying that he is not up to full match fitness yet but getting there.
The message is very much that they MAY sign him.

HAS it been confirmed that they are once again exempt from FFP ?

No mention and I expect some big earners having moved on and those massive parachute payments help.

Sheffield Wednesday can't fulfil their next 2 fixtures due to covid so Coventry will be nice and rested for Tuesday as well.

I’m glad we are out of the Cup. Starting with Coventry we have two games every week apart from one week only up through into early March. That assumes our game v Brentford does take place next month.

Derby have told their players they won't get paid in full for December as they don't have the money. Proposed takeover in dome doubt. If it doesn't happen in next few days, administration beckons.

I’m no fan of Derby but it’s a sad state off affairs in general. Financial mismanagement, questionable takeovers and covid really isn’t a good mix for football

Whats crazy is that 5 years ago, they had one of the lowest wage bills as a percentage of revenue in the Championship.
