Snowflake Royal 'reasonable' seems to come up a lot in legal and regulatory stuff, despite not actually being very clear or objective at all.

It's very clear (or at least to anyone who has studied law at any level) - it's the view of the 'man on the Clapham omnibus'. So if they ever scrap the Clapham bus services, our legal system is basically screwed!

Mid Sussex Royal Blackpool V Hudds off, frozen pitch, and with Hull losing last night only Cov can overtake us today, but have a tough game V Norwich.

I thought champ teams had to have undersoil heating...

Some game at Coventry !

Some slightly better news, Birmingham appear to be dropping like a stone at the moment.

Protests happening in front of the directors box at Birmingham, although they've just pulled one back against Preston now.

Interesting read on Preston this morning, showing they've made a loss of £16.8m for the last financial year, an increase from £15.4m in the previous financial year. Their turnover has increased as well by around 16%. Interesting, their wages-to-turnover ratio now sits an 177%, which has decreased from the previous year from (a staggering) 216%. Football finance expert Kieran Maguire believes that in day-to-day operations, the club are probably losing around £400,000 a week.

And this is one of the clubs that are branded to be one of the better run clubs in the Championship! Volatile division.

BBC Bristol City's ownership have been trying to reduce their wage bill to fall in line with the English Football League's rules around profit and sustainability, which state club's must limit losses to £39m over a three-year period.

Gould added that he thought the Robins would be "fine" this year to meet those requirements.

"We've done our numbers and we've submitted those numbers. At the moment we are confident we will be within the parameters required for this year."

Take out infrastructure projects and academies, factor in selling assets to owner and renting back etc if they've done that and they could be riding the line... especially if they had a profit a few years back that's still in the accounting period due to Covid adaptations

The two Covid seasons also get averaged out as well, it might be next season where Bristol City fall into trouble unless they can make a significant profit in the next couple of windows. All still possible if they sell Semenyo and Alex Scott for decent fees to PL clubs.

Man United finding it quite easy against Forest in first half tonight. I fear for our lads on Saturday evening against one of the strongest outfits from Lancashire.

I see Rotherham are making waves in this transfer market:

Sean Morrison
Leo Hjelde (Leeds)
Tariq Fosu
Jordan Hugill
Conor Coventry

Fosu and Hugill should be good acquisitions for them, not to sure about the others. Just wondering if these are good moves or panic stations. I guess we'll soon see.
