Mid Sussex Royal Not at our end of the table but Kieran Maguire of the Mail reporting Sheffield United are close to administration and are taking drastic cost cutting measures to avoid it.

The league is fcuked, they must still be getting parachute payments too....

I bet they'll be fine

Although if they do go into admin won't they get the points deduction in the premier league instead?

Different bodies, I'd imagine they won't get a deduction at all.

Yeah talk of then having to sell Ndiaye etc if they stay down

They are carrying 20m players in the likes of Berge, McBurnie and that forward whose name escapes me. No way is it sustainable

Imagine them and wba are well and truly knackered if they stay down. Hope they do actually, as it might even start driving some reforms and highlight what an absolute mess the champ is

Latest

Blackpool 1-3 Coventry
Millwall 0-1 Huddersfield
QPR 0-1 Birmingham
Rotherham 0-1 Cardiff (game delayed on 48’ due to torrential rain)
Watford 1-1 Wigan

Looks like wins for Brum, Coventry and Huddersfield. Draw for Wigan and a chance the Cardiff game will be abandoned.

That result now means Reading are officially the worst away team in the division by 2 points.

And with the deduction we are in striking distance of relegation.

We were before today, with the deduction we would have been 3 points ahead of Blackpool, now it`s Huddersfield.

Probs as much chance of hudders getting a deduction as us from the sound of it

At least we should know this week, can’t be helpful with the uncertainty

EFL looking at the circumstances behind the abandoned game, maybe they will play the last 40 mins behind closed doors?

Unsurprisingly Cardiff are putting together a catalogue of what they see as the shambles that took place at Rotherham on Saturday to plead their case to restart the game at 0-1. Primary complaint being the perceived approach of the ground staff on the day in taking a leaf out of the “Reading v Bury” how (not) to clear water off a pitch book.

Expectation is, though, that the FL will not order the restart but just tell both sides to replay the entire match on a date TBC in April.
