URZZZZ Notice that Giles has been recalled by Wolves from Cardiff. Most assists in the league (along with Swift). Given how Cardiff’s team looks bereft of creativity at times, can see them in real danger of dropping unless they get reinforcements in, especially considering the honeymoon phase is over

Side point, but Cardiff fans really don’t like Bacuna, notice he got another stupid red card the other day. Liability of a player

interesting, and yes saw Bacuna did a ridiculous tackle the other day. Had some talent, but certainly one I'm glad we saw the back of.

3m was a robbery tbh

Absolute moron of a player. Such a disappointment.

How is this for making us feel old (and in my case) more depressed.

The grandson of Ian Wright and son of Shaun Wright-Phillips made his debut for Stoke today

TBF Ian Wright is only 58, Shaun Wright-Phillips is only 40.

Is there any chance it'll happen this season? Or likely to be next season?

Be surprised if we see any more this season, so any new ones will be next. Which makes staying up this year even more vital as although we will be stretched on budget, the points deduction should be out of the way.

Decision would need to be announced by about mid-March at the latest. I could see one or two more squeezing through if those are the only ones being investigated. But if they're investigating 3 / 4 / 5, I can't see a decision in time for this season.

They’ll be next year now

Brizzle definitely susceptible. Stoke have lost an absolute fortune recently

Derby have apparently been placed under a new embargo meaning they cannot register any players. Appears as part of this Phil Jagielka's contract has also been cancelled meaning he is not available tomorrow now (his deal ends next week).

As it stands, any player whose deal runs out this month - so Baldock would fall into this, will not have deals renewed and they cannot currently sign anyone else.

EFL asking for proof of funds to show they can complete the season - may mean Derby have to sell players as well to fund the rest of the season.

I'd take Jagielka

But yeah, that's shit. Was kind of hoping they'd pull off the great escape, although recent events might have meant at our expense.

It is but the sale is dragging on, so I guess it is only right that they ensure they have enough money to get through to the end of the season as they will not want them to go bust in the season. Them staying up or not is not their concern after all but them going bust could impact the rest of the division.

Would actually help us though

Rooney confirmed earlier this week that Baldock was leaving them.

Ah, fair enough.

Now officially confirmed that Jagielka has left the club.

EFL also released a statement saying they have reiterated to the Administrators that they need to see proof of how they intend to fund the club through the season. Done now as this is the only time available for the club to raise funds from sales I guess.

tbf could be a shrewd signing. Not sure whether he'll get better offers though, and he may well be surplus to requirements in a month or so.
