Top two seem to be running away with it already, if Fulham and Bournemouth both win tonight, they’ll be 11 and 10 points ahead of 3rd respectively. West Brom fallen off the rails a bit in recent weeks

Not technically rivals but it’s pretty soul destroying to see Rotherham back at the top of League one again. Joined by the likes of Sunderland, Sheffield Wednesday and Wigan in the playoffs. All rather uninspiring

Thought Plymouth were going to be quite strong after the start to the season, but they have fallen away pretty badly in the last couple of games. Would like to see them up again.

There should be a ban on them coming up unless they spend at least £15m in the summer transfer window.

There's actually a Wiki page on yo-yo clubs. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yo-yo_club

West Brom a fun one.

Albion were promoted in 2002, relegated in 2003, promoted in 2004, achieved what has become known as "The Great Escape" in 2005 when they became the first ever club to avoid relegation from the Premier League after being in bottom place at Christmas, relegated in 2006, lost the 2007 play-off Final to Derby County, promoted in 2008, relegated in 2009 and promoted in 2010. They remained in the Premier League until the end of the 2017–18 season when the club was relegated to the Championship once again. Having lost to Aston Villa in the 2019 playoffs, they won automatic promotion in 2020. In 2021, they were relegated to the Championship again.

In Germany, yo-yo clubs are called Fahrstuhlmannschaften, i.e. lift or elevator teams.

After 70 mins in the Barnsley v Swansea game, Barnsley have have 3 shots, 0 on target, and Swans have had 2, 0 on target. Sounds about as exciting as our game yesterday. Although Swansea have had 82% possession

As much as I hate Millwall they were hard done by tonight and Bournmouth again get decisions.
I quite like Millwall's style of play. Very direct and great use of pace and width.
There I've said it.

interestingly, I've (genuinely) a mate who supports them and says they bore him and all their fans to tears. And even though they are doing quite well would be happy to see the back of Rowett

they were desperately dull, despite the protestations of the commentators who seemed to think they were great

For the first 10 minutes they looked really handy, moving the ball quickly in our half. It then all turned into a mediocre turd fest where they ultimately were ever so slightly less shit than us - and the bar was set low, very oxf*rd low.

Millwall have lost their identity since Rowett came in. Renowned as a really ugly in your face team a couple of years back. Not sure what they are now but they seem to draw a fair amount of games

Didn't the same happen with Warnock at @boro in that he went after they had won a game.?

Warnock knew he was going before the game. I think it was a kind of farewell and thanks.

The drew at WBA iirc. It happened to Farke at Norwich after they beat Brentford.

Bodes well for any excitement in Saturday’s game then.

Kyle Naughton completed more passes than the entire Barnsley team put together.

not watched them this season, but think they are an possession at all costs team. Stamball-esque. It really could be a very dull game on Sat, with them probably snatching a 1-0 win. The Piroe seems to score a lot for them and obvs a good signing

Another foreign owned club where promotion is all that matters.
