Royal_jimmy If we win today and Fulham lose then only one more point will confirm our playoff place. Meanwhile if they draw and we win then we need to better their result next Saturday to confirm our spot a few days early. I expect us to wrap up a place on Saturday

If both Fulham (home to Villa) and Sheff Wed (at QPR) lose today Huddersfield and Reading will both be guaranteed a play off place irrespective of their results for the rest of the season.

Only if we win today, surely?

Think a QPR-Wednesday draw would do it as well (if us and Villa both win).

Yes, but was going to query the comment until I remembered that Fulham face Wednesday last day of season. So let's hope we do it today.

Only if we miss out on the play-offs and numpties think we've made it. It's tradition now.

Bloke's hardly had a game all season, can't expect him to start 2 games in 3 days

Plus I get the impression Stam doesn't really rate him as an impact sub. Even when he has been on the bench he's rarely been used. If he's not fully fit (and it seems from what was said on here that he was knackered on Sat) then I can understand why he's not involved today.

Good to see Meite start for the first time in a while!

If the shape is the same as Saturday then looks like Obita & McCleary as wing backs. Beerens behind Yann & Meite

Stam looks to me like he's trying to give as many players a chance in these couple of games as possible to prepare for the POs and maybe next season.

Rotherham go 0-1 up.

Reading apparently shambolic and Williams in particular is very rattled by some standard Northern fouling.

Fulham and Wednesday both winning 1-0. Not that it ought to matter in the end.

Soooo timid. Scoreline totally deserved.

If you start with a midfield with no bite you need to go on the front foot from the start
