Something that simply reflects which club has the most people sat at home tapping on their keyboards seems a little hollow.

Hence why I don't take awards based on a poll seriously, it very heavily favours bigger clubs.

yeah its ridiculous to take much notice of these - the 'big' club players will always win. Lasse Vibe is another name on who should be getting a far higher amounts of votes. No idea what his availibility or price tag would be, but if we stayed down, I wouldn't be unhappy to see us try to pick him up, looks an excellent player.

Yann has been outstanding in April and would be a worthy winner. I noticed on the site they also have the top whoscored ratings of the season, and Yann is way above any striker in the division in that.

I always reckon these are the most credible awards, being based on what the paying customers, irrespective of team loyalties, decide.

They thankfully have an award not voted for by fans and was a deserved win for Yann. Fan polls we should really just ignore, let small clubs like Brighton anxiously vote in blocks to get their player to win.
