Loving QPR away first, and Brizzle away on Boxing Day, and Brentford at home on my birthday 8)

Fulham at home first will be spicy.

Have to wait until April for Craven Cottage and it's on a weeknight :x But at least Brentford away is on a Saturday this time.

Tougher run-in this year.

Villa (A), Fulham (A), Sunderland (H), Wednesday (A) in our last 7.

Fair fooks to the fixture computer by the way, we only have two northern midweek trips all season.

Bolton (Tues 21 Nov)
Forest (Tues 20 Feb)

The rest are Saturday 3pm's.

Hands off our opening game away to QPR Sky Sports. I don't want you moving it. The first Saturday of the season on a hot August day away to QPR is a game that I am definitely looking forward to. Don't ruin it Sky.

No fixture on valentines day next year and no home games over Christmas (23rd Dec doesn't count), that will make my life easier with the missus. Fortunately her birthday falls outside of the football season too.

I could tell her I e-mailed the FA and arranged this, she'll believe me too but I'll be expected to do it every year so better not.

Good thing we'll be promoted before then

Plus tougher on paper- Villa have already reached FFP peak, Fulham - are they really going to invest? Sunderland (and Hull) I can see going the way of Norwich, Wednesday will no doubt continue to be Wednesday, padded full of strikers and unbalanced at the back.

Yeah, it's all supposition. But that's part of the fun of football

Tell her you won the ability to influence the fixtures in a supporter ballot, so you sorted them out to suit her - unfortunately, it will be another fan/team next year.....

Was very happy with QPR away for the opening day - big IN for that.

I then saw that that's when I'm in Venice, and in fact I fly back just after they kick off :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

I guess that also means we will have played Fulham for two consecutive home fixtures, that surely doesn't happen very often.

Boxing Day is always the day Miss Avon's rabidly Bristol City side of the family have their Christmas get-together. That fixture is going to cause carnage....... 8)

What does Sunderland have to offer ? It's not even got the '30 minutes from London' side benefit and the laughingly named 'Stadium of Light' is just a Mad Stad with extra seats. Now Roker Park, that WAS a ground.....
Did anyone ever say 'let's go to Sunderland for the weekend' ?

Shitty Sunderland Website I bet you cannot name me one thing interesting about Reading. Well, aside from Reading Festival (which is just the posh version of the much cooler Leeds Festival, if you needed to know).

Reading is the most boring town in the UK, with the exception of Milton Keynes and Silloth. No-one has ever uttered the words “hey, let’s go see the sights Reading has to offer”. It’s a painfully dull place which only plus point is that its near enough to commute to London.

The Madejski Stadium (or the ‘Mad Stad’ as TalkSport infuriatingly insist on calling it as though it has some form of character) reflects the town in which it is situated - it's the quintessential pop-up ground on a retail park in the middle of nowhere. It's 3 miles away from the centre of the town with no train station or any semblance of decent pub nearby.

Whilst we have finally shook off the dreadful day out that is Stoke-on-Trent we have sadly gained its southern, less angry equivalent.

That is hilarious, what does Sunderland have to offer then? I would say that, they have at least acknowledged we aren't as bad as Milton Keynes in terms of a lack of appeal.

I would argue that Leeds Festival is "cooler" than Reading - whatever that means.

As for Reading being boring, that's a subjective opinion and as is the case with these writeups, it's by people who have been here once and only been to the Three Guineas and then to the ground.
