Reading v Derby prediction thread

by Sutekh » 20 Feb 2018 22:54

I predict a further diminished attendance as many opt for local non league games in a successful search for entertainment on a pitch on a Saturday.

Actually thought the Forest game was entertaining.

Would take a repeat of that (with obvs a better result) on Saturday

Sorry Hound, you’ve lost your mind.

Play like that again and Derby would put 10 past us.

I have opted to watch rugby

I don't really like rugby but at least it's a change from passionless passing about with no end product
New mission statement - Passive pasionless passing?

I meant in terms of entertainment value. We will certainly have to play a lot better than we did second half

did you think it was a dull match Leon? Actually enjoyed it despite the Forest goal

If we are going to be shit, at least want a half decent match, and I thought it was

Was definitely entertaining, not sure how that can be disputed.

I hated the second half because we were awful and I knew that they would score. The question was, how many.

So no I didn't enjoy it. I'm sure if I was one of those "I don't support a team, I just like watching goals" I might have got some pleasure out of it. Maybe if it was 5 games to go and we were safe from relegation then I might have had a different opinion.

But I'm not, and I didn't. And it's not and we aren't.

My prediction, whatever happens people who've decided the sky is falling will stick to their guns, ironically claiming that the problem with Stam is his refusal to change his mind

Not quite. Instead there's 14 games to go and we are safe from relegation.

No. Quite.

At the very best until it's mathematically impossible we are not safe from relegation.

I assumed that to be the case and it is a blow. However, he seemed to miss a sitter against Forest from the Sky highlights!
