South Bank atmosphere was blinding and where the aroma of the toilets met the whiff of the burger fan: literally.
We miss the Tilehurst End's 1,000 grumpy b*stards (from my one visit to the Lower West, we know where they migrated )
250 teenagers under a tin roof could generate some noise, until 50 knuckle draggers from some Northern Town went "boo".

It was a soulless dump in the day - Move on everybody

Congratulations by Cliff Richard after every home win. Could take a while before we hear it.

Old Man Andrews Elm Park is dead (sadly)

Football has changed and the club since the Elm Park days

We have the most apathetic and fairweather support in English league football

We need to stop living in the past and realise our atmosphere will never change

We will never get safe standing, lets stop going on about it

Essentially just deal with it. If you don't like the atmosphere and want a load of noise this isn't the club for you. It is what it is.

WRONG. We don't have the most apathetic and fairweather support in English league football. You should go to Fulham, or Watford, or Chelsea etc etc etc.

Coppells Lost Coat People these days are too happy to complain at almost anything therefore sucks out most joys of going to the match. Here are some of my observations of what people have complained about at the mad stad - that pie stinks, sit down, stop swearing, sit down, stop banging the chairs, get that flag out of here, sit down, stop swearing, I cant see, the away fans are standing??
So you can see why people are unable to create any sort of atmosphere, if at the very start those we sit next to near to start moaning.
So stop whining and get on board people its great fun and match days will become entertaining again

Possibly three of those are reasonable.

seat banging - wholeheartedly agree - it's acting like a toddler
swearing - if it's excessive and there are young children present maybe... but politely and only tone it down a bit
I can't see (standing) - if there's a mobility issue or it's persistent with no one else in the area standing, fair enough... safe standing would of course solve this completely.

The rest. Piss off to the theatre, rugby or west stand.

The only way you can get an exciting atmos is if you have an exciting team playing exciting football and we havnt since winning the championship. We were boring as f*ck last season to claim third and quite frankly have been for a while.
Players that should excite us don't (though Aluko against QPR was probably the most exciting bit of football we've seen for eons).
