Today

by ITFC_Keane » 28 Apr 2018 23:24

Made it down with nil expectation, managed a good lunch and got back home by 9.

Still don't know how we won 4-0. Your defence were non-existent. In fact, at the end, one of your Central Defenders (think it was Gunter) couldn't wait to get off and basically just put his head down and went.

The Sears goal was comedy at its 'Danny Baker's Great Cock Ups" VHS best. Mannone's face as he retrieved the ball - think Joe Pesci getting shot in Goodfellas. We had to feel sorry for the young lad in your midfield; had he won a competition to play in the game today?

The positives are that it was never a 4-0 game and that, with better finishing and more composure, you would have led before we scored. Still think you'll be OK next week, even if you don't win at Cardiff. But that team needs some serious work in the summer. Aluko's past it, Gunter is woeful and that midfield couldn't pass a wet sh*t after a dodgy curry. But hey, you've got money to afford it.

Best of luck. Enjoyed the day as ever

Think that the ‘central defender’ that you refer to (not Gunter) was actually one of our nominated ‘Players of the Season”

lol, that’s how bad we”ve been

Yep agreed. Our defence and midfield is awful. Good turnout from your lot circa 1200 I’m guessing.

'Better finishing and composure' - the story of our season and one of the main reasons we are in the shyte.

Thanks Pal. We need all the luck we can get. Couldn't see any positives in it myself, maybe though it will make any future success sweeter. God only knows but this season has been as good as smashing your head through a glass window. It's painful and you just wouldn't do it

"Couldn't pass a wet sh*t after a dodgy curry" Great summary bud. And now it's all down to waiting on other results next weekend. Can't believe it's come down to this. Still, as they say in a certain ad, 'we have now moved on to dilly dilly time'

ITFC_Keane Your defence were non-existent.

Story of the season. Though the bigger issue is the lack of a combative midfield.

Moore was virtually the last player off the pitch for us, though did completely ignore the SS chant for him.

He must wonder what the hell has happened to his career.
