Anyone see Kitson posting something on his instagram about being a manic depressive and that he's sure one day he'll end up killing himself?

Old news Jäger?

His podcast a year or so ago intimated some of that.

I’m not sure whether there are specific circumstances, but noticed Kelly has played barely an hours football for Oxford, Barrett seems to have been dropped altogether for Bristol R and Howe seems to be permanently benched for Blackpool

I know the second two have time on their side but that’s a bit poor really

Kelly came off the bench against Newcastle, scored, started soon after IIRC but subsequently got injured after 20 minutes and he’s only just come back

Barrett wasn’t deemed fit enough by their manager and so has been dropped until he reached a “specific” target (in other words, he’s still too overweight)

Howe was signed by Grayson who was soon sacked after he bought Howe

Think Kelly has been sat on the bench for the past couple of games or so urzzzz, after also being on the bench early feb for 3 or 4 games

Interesting but disappointing from Barrett - that’s not really good enough

Sounds positive. Might do him a world of good to have been given a clear pathway into first team football. Little bit like what we suspected happened with Olise here.

Still only 21, although seems to have been talked about for ages, so got time on his side to force his way in as well.

For those with BT sport you can watch Adam Le Fondre against Simon Cox this morning at 8.30. The Sydney derby Sydney FC v Western Sydney Wanderers

Think clubs everywhere should play behind closed doors, so long as the squads involved have a clean bill of health. At least the season would be progressing somewhat, albeit slowly.

And Mr Le Fondre has scored for Sydney FC

...but for what of those teams with depleted squads, would they be expected to fulfill the fixture?

On page 27 there was mention of Angus MacDonald’s cancer diagnosis. He has had a successful colectomy and now has a clean bill of health.

Good article about his whole journey:

Peter Bonetti has died. What obituaries almost certainly won't mention is that he played for Reading as a teenager in the late 1950s.

Peter and his brother Robert signed amateur forms for Reading. Both played for our youth team (possibly reserves as well, but not the first team). Reading really wanted to sign 16-year-old Peter to a professional contract, but he was always going to Chelsea. As far as I know we didn't try to sign Robert, who I think was a defender.

Thanks for that Cube

Was totally unaware of that

A name that tripped off of the tongue 40/50 years ago...I only got to see him play once....

....and that was at the Madejski...the same game that Boris Johnson played in

Tommy Wright has quit as St Johnstone boss after 7 years (last 5 as manager) at the club.
