2 world wars, 1 world cup I want to know what Adi Williams does these days. Seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth.

Deniss Rakels scored his own penalty, but couldn't prevent his team Riga from being knocked out of the Champions League by Dundalk. The score after 2 legs and extra time was 0-0.

He's scored 7 goals since he left us 2 years ago.

Career statistics of one goal every three games, not too shabby.

I think that ankle injury killed his career - he'd a good scoring record before that, but it's more like 1 goal in 10 now.

oxf*rd me I just saw Big Hec turned 27 today. I still think of him as a youth player. He really pissed away his career going to Chelsea (in a traditional way I mean).

it was so predictable at the time. Same as Tshibola. What happened to him?

Still at Villa. Just doesn't play for them.

Tshibola I get. He didnt value the first team football he had on his plate and got turned by a club offering more money and maybe thought he could break into the team there. Hector moved to Chelsea on deadline day. He should have known he was being signed for the sake of it.

He's not done too shabbily. Season with us on Chelsea wages, season doing better than us with Hull on Chelsea wages etc.

It's not like he's stagnated and been stuck in reserve football doing nothing or regressed down the divisions.

What I meant by "in a tradition sort of way" was that he has been stuck as part of a loan army. Training with different players, tactics, managers and clubs for a really important part of his career. Hes not developed as he could have had he gone to a lower PL club like Palace. Yeah hes made good money if that's what it's all about but hes not done anything to further his playing career.

I mean compare him to Harry Maguire. Was Harry a better player? Nah. But he played first team football in the championship and premier league. Or Dunk? They have had better career paths because they chose regular first team football over loaning around the leagues. Imo.

How much would he cost now? Would it be worth us bringing him back?

Chelsea always make a profit. I think. So over 5 million is my guess and there would be some competition as well as wage demand we likely cant match.

Would have loved him back, but we've got Morrison now. So no longer an issue.

Unless I'm misremembering he is a decent DM? Could still fill that role if it weren't for the cost issues I mentioned.

Say no to players 'who can play' x. Specialists please. Midfielders in midfield, defenders in defence.

Unless you buy Thierry Henry from Juventus. Hes allowed to switch from winger to striker.

Converting a player to a new position isn't the same as making do with them out of position.
