John Smith
Hound As usual Vision, a sensible post

One thing on the Aluko example though. Yes, he did get his first start, but that was with Barrow, Bod and Baldock all out. Loader also yet to play a game.

And presuming he wasn’t injured on sat, that’s the first time he has been out of the squad since he arrived.

I very much doubt Gourlay was picking him on PCs behalf as such, but I do expect there was some pressure there to play him

Not sure I get the Vision love-in today, all Vision has done is offered a different opinion but it's turned out to be wrong.

Aluko has some form clause in his contract where he needs as much game time as possible. Gourlay's departure doesn't change what is written into a contract. It's not difficult to figure out.

Vision posts are measured and well thought out. He’s not hysterical, prone to self obsessed grandstanding or just trying to wind people up.

+1

As a result he stands out as probably the best poster on the team board.

And from me.

If I find myself disagreeing with Vision (very rare) I have a very long hard think about whether I need to change my mind.

We can’t both agree with him?

Would be surprised - weird timing.

I was just starting to warm to him as well, impressed with him playing the academy lads.

Hopefully a new manager will give them a chance.

This can only mean that it is someone that Howe knows and has been buttering up for the job surely. Mr Coppell DOF and McDermott back as manager.

oxf*rd it, let's get the whole team back. Who's got Hammond's number? Kevin Dillon anyone?

Sir John is over in the housing estate where Elm Park once was bulldozing houses as we speak. We are going back to the old days folks!

If it's rumored to be what I heard last week the next appointment is terrible and would rather stick with clement, but I'm going to put money on it before I disclose when the bookies open said market.

Shit it's happened https://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/2018/d ... l-clement/

Ah you tease.

I am fully expecting it to be Gianfranco Zola.

Good luck Paul, like a footballing win, we barely knew thee.

FFS back on the manager merry go round to appoint yet another twat destined to fail.

Bet the new guy is thoroughly underwhelming. If he gets results the players can just oxf*rd right off.

Was not expecting that and feel a bit sorry for the bloke.

It feels like the owners are clearing house and PC was Gourlay's guy, so was dead man walking - so get him out now and the new guy gets the window.

Johnny Fordham hinting at Murty coming home. Not sure I'd want that, tbh.
